Are you a detail-oriented professional with a detective mindset? We are seeking an Asset Protection Manager (Loss Prevention) to join our corporate security and risk management team. This is a unique Work-from-Home role that allows you to manage retail security, fraud detection, and inventory integrity from a remote command center.
This position is ideal for moms with a background in management, law enforcement, or retail operations who are looking to transition into a high-level corporate role with the flexibility of a home-based office. You will be responsible for identifying risks and protecting the companys bottom line without needing to be physically present in a store.
Remote Surveillance & Auditing: Conduct regular virtual audits of store transactions and point-of-sale (POS) data to identify irregularities or potential internal theft.
Fraud Detection: Monitor e-commerce transactions for patterns of digital fraud, credit card friendly fraud, and unauthorized returns.
Data Analysis: Analyze inventory shrinkage reports to identify high-risk locations and develop remote intervention strategies.
Incident Management: Coordinate with on-site store managers and local authorities to document theft incidents and manage recovery processes.
Policy Development: Create and update remote security protocols to ensure all employees are following safety and loss prevention best practices.
Corporate Level Pay: This is a management-tier role offering higher compensation than entry-level support jobs.
Predictable Schedule: Unlike floor-based retail security, this remote role typically follows standard business hours or a set 40-hour week.
Professional Identity: A great way for moms with previous leadership experience to maintain their Manager title and career trajectory while working remotely.
Experience: 3+ years in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Risk Management, or Law Enforcement.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CCTV software, POS monitoring tools, and Microsoft Excel.
Critical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns in data and draw logical conclusions.
Communication: Strong report-writing skills and the ability to conduct professional interviews via video conference.
Education: Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
Salary: Highly competitive, ranging from $55,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience).
Full Benefits: 401(k) matching, comprehensive health insurance, and paid time off (PTO).
Home Office Stipend: Allowance for high-speed internet and necessary security monitoring equipment.
Travel: Very minimal to zero travel required (95% - 100% remote).
