Walmart is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Real Estate legal team in a hybrid work environment. This role provides essential administrative support to attorneys and real estate professionals, facilitating the smooth operation of our legal department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and coordination within Walmarts expansive real estate operations.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Real Estate legal team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel.
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and presentations related to real estate transactions.
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for legal documents and contracts.
Coordinate internal and external communications, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
Assist with contract management, including tracking deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements.
Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for management review.
Support attorneys in due diligence, property closings, and transactional processes.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive legal information.
Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the legal team.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of legal terminology, real estate processes, and contract management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a legal administrative or paralegal support role, preferably within real estate law or corporate legal departments.
Experience coordinating with attorneys, managing contracts, and handling sensitive information is highly desirable.
Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Hybrid work model: combination of on-site office presence and remote work flexibility.
Occasional extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of real estate law, corporate legal processes, and contract management.
Strong analytical skills to review documents and identify key issues.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
