Job Summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable General Worker to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth handling, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. The General Worker will assist in loading, unloading, and transporting materials, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety, and providing general operational support to the logistics team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials.

• Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or site.

• Support inventory management by counting, labeling, and organizing stock.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse area.

• Report any damaged or missing materials to supervisors.

• Assist with basic equipment operation under supervision (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.

• Understanding of basic warehouse operations and procedures is an advantage.

• Good communication skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or general labor roles is preferred but not mandatory.
