Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations within our high-volume Fulfillment Center. This role plays a critical part in delivering a positive employee experience by providing day-to-day HR support, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting in workforce administration. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and passionate about supporting employees in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Provide front-line HR support to hourly associates and leaders within the Fulfillment Center.
Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records, attendance tracking, and HR data in internal systems.
Support employee relations by responding to HR inquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
Assist with time and attendance corrections, leave management, and payroll-related queries.
Support HR programs including performance management, engagement initiatives, and training coordination.
Ensure compliance with Amazon policies, labor laws, and workplace standards.
Partner with HR Business Partners and Operations leaders to support workforce planning and daily HR needs.
Participate in audits, reporting, and HR process improvement initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Customer-service mindset with a passion for employee support.
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or a related field.
Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, retail, or logistics environment is preferred.
Exposure to HRIS systems and timekeeping tools is an advantage.
Full-time position with shifts aligned to Fulfillment Center operations.
Flexible scheduling may be required, including weekends, nights, or holidays based on business needs.
Basic understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
