Amazon is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented GM Administrative Assistant to support senior General Managers and leadership teams within our Store Support Center. This role is critical to ensuring smooth daily operations, effective communication, and efficient coordination across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and demonstrate exceptional administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills while upholding Amazons leadership principles.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to General Managers and senior leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
Act as a central point of contact between leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders
Prepare, edit, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential documents
Coordinate department meetings, leadership reviews, and cross-functional initiatives, including agenda preparation and follow-ups
Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for team members
Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and documentation in compliance with company standards
Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and procurement requests
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency
Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or office support role
Experience supporting senior leaders or managers in a corporate or fast-paced business environment preferred
Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, operations, or large matrix organizations is an advantage
Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week
Standard business hours with flexibility required to support leadership schedules
Occasional extended hours may be required during peak business periods or critical projects
Strong understanding of office management and administrative best practices
Ability to anticipate needs and proactively address challenges
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
High adaptability and comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment
