We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Senior Waiter/Waitress to join the elite food and beverage team at one of Dubai premier Luxury 5-Star Hotels. This is a high-visibility role that requires a blend of sophisticated service techniques, deep culinary knowledge, and the ability to lead a junior team during busy services. You will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our international and local VIP clientele, ensuring that every detail—from table setting to wine pairing—is executed to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Table Leadership: Manage a dedicated station, overseeing junior runners and servers to ensure seamless, synchronized service.

• Expert Consultation: Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Offer expert recommendations on wine and beverage pairings.

• Guest Recognition: Anticipate the needs of regular guests and VIPs, maintaining a personalized service profile for high-net-worth individuals.

• Upselling: Drive revenue through subtle, professional suggestions of appetizers, premium beverages, and signature desserts.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverage items meet the hotel presentation and temperature standards before reaching the table.

• Training: Mentor junior staff on fine-dining etiquette, POS system usage, and brand-specific service sequences.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a Fine Dining or Luxury Hotel environment (Michelin-star or Leading Hotels of the World experience is highly preferred).

• Skills: Mastery of silver service, table-side preparation (where applicable), and advanced wine knowledge.

• Language: Professional fluency in English. Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Russian, French, Arabic, or Mandarin) is a significant advantage in the Dubai market.

• Demeanor: Impeccable grooming, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain composed under the pressure of a high-volume luxury venue.

Technical Requirements:

• POS Systems: Proficiency in Micros, Simphony, or Oracle Hospitality.

• Compliance: Strong understanding of HACCP and local UAE food safety regulations.
