Job Summary

Delta Airlines is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Flight Reservation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing flight bookings, cancellations, and modifications while delivering exceptional service to our global clientele. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and a passion for providing seamless travel experiences. This is a full-time position with a 5-day working schedule, offering a balanced work-life environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage flight reservations, cancellations, and changes using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

  • Assist customers with booking inquiries, fare quotes, seat selections, and special requests.

  • Resolve booking issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Provide accurate information regarding schedules, fares, and policies.

  • Liaise with airline departments to ensure smooth processing of reservations and ticketing.

  • Maintain and update customer records accurately in the system.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues as necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with airline policies, safety regulations, and data protection standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of airline fare structures, ticketing, and reservation processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

  • Basic computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office tools.


Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in airline reservations, travel agency, or customer service roles within the aviation industry.

  • Experience in handling international flight bookings is highly preferred.


Working Hours

  • 5-day working schedule per week (specific days to be assigned).

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts may be required to cover international customer service demands.

  • In-depth knowledge of GDS systems and airline booking procedures.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of reservation requests efficiently.

  • Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills.
