Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking passionate and skilled Freelance Online Coding Tutors to inspire and guide young learners at the primary and secondary school levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and the ability to make coding fun and engaging for students. This role is fully remote, offering flexible working hours while making a tangible impact on the next generation of coders.

As a tutor, you will deliver one-on-one and small group sessions, adapting lessons to the students skill level and learning pace. You will foster creativity, logical thinking, and confidence in coding, equipping students with the skills they need to excel in the digital age.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online coding sessions for primary and secondary students.

• Develop and customize lesson plans according to the students proficiency level.

• Introduce students to fundamental programming concepts (e.g., Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS, JavaScript).

• Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional resources as needed.

• Maintain an encouraging, interactive, and supportive virtual classroom environment.

• Track student attendance, progress reports, and learning outcomes.

• Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure alignment with learning objectives.

• Stay updated with the latest coding trends, educational tools, and teaching methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Scratch, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.).

• Experience teaching or tutoring children or teens in coding or STEM subjects.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored for younger audiences.

• Ability to create structured yet flexible lesson plans.

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring in coding or related STEM subjects.

• Experience in online or remote teaching is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in curriculum development or educational content creation is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible, part-time freelance schedule.

• Sessions typically range from 30–60 minutes each, based on student requirements.

• Availability during evenings or weekends may be required to accommodate student schedules.
