We are seeking a creative and sensitive Remote Videographer & Video Editor to join our Postpartum Wellness Brand. In this role, you will produce high-quality, emotionally resonant video content that supports, educates, and inspires new mothers. Since this is a remote position, you must be a self-starter capable of managing the entire post-production pipeline—from raw footage to final delivery—while maintaining a cohesive and soothing brand aesthetic.
Video Editing: Edit long-form educational content (courses/workshops) and short-form marketing assets (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
Creative Direction: Develop visual styles that align with the soft, nurturing, and professional tone of a postpartum wellness brand.
Color Grading & Sound: Ensure all videos have a high-end feel with consistent color palettes and clear, balanced audio (including music bed selection).
Motion Graphics: Create simple, clean on-screen text and graphics to highlight key wellness tips and medical disclaimers.
Remote Production: Provide guidance to our creators/experts on how to film high-quality raw footage from home (lighting, framing, and audio setup).
Experience: 3+ years in video editing and production, preferably within the health, wellness, or parenting space.
Portfolio: Must provide a reel or portfolio showcasing a lifestyle or wellness aesthetic (natural lighting, soft transitions).
Emotional Intelligence: Ability to handle sensitive topics (postpartum mental health, physical recovery) with care and appropriate tone.
Communication: Strong ability to collaborate asynchronously with a remote marketing team.
Software: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with After Effects is a plus.
Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of social media video specs (9:16 vs. 16:9) and engagement trends.
File Management: Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools like Frame.io, Dropbox, or Google Drive for large file transfers.
Hardware: A powerful editing workstation and reliable high-speed internet for uploading 4K/HD assets.
Shift: Flexible / Project-Based.
Schedule: Part-time or Retainer-based (e.g., 10–20 hours per week).
Mode: 100% Remote.
Compensation: Monthly Retainer or Project Fee (DOE).
