In this remote role, you will work with a diverse, global student base, providing high-impact coaching in Math, Reading, and Writing to help students boost their standardized test scores.

This position is ideal for moms, teachers, or grad students who prefer working in the evening. Because our students are located across multiple time zones (USA, Asia, and Europe), you can enjoy a consistent flow of sessions during your peak availability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Personalized Instruction: Conduct 1-on-1 or small group virtual tutoring sessions focused on SAT/ACT strategies, content review, and time management.

  • Curriculum Delivery: Use provided lesson plans to teach algebraic concepts, grammar rules, and critical reading techniques.

  • Progress Tracking: Assign practice tests and provide detailed feedback to students and parents on areas of improvement.

  • Student Engagement: Motivate students through interactive digital whiteboards and video conferencing tools.

  • Global Coordination: Manage a flexible schedule that accommodates students from different international regions.

Why This Role is Ideal for Remote Educators

  • Evening Flexibility: Perfect for those who need daytime hours for family or other commitments. Most sessions occur between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

  • Global Impact: Gain experience working with international curricula and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Work from Anywhere: 100% remote—no commute required. All you need is your expertise and a stable internet connection.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Subject Expertise: Strong proficiency in SAT/ACT content. High personal test scores (90th percentile+) are a significant advantage.

  • Education: A Bachelors degree is required; a background in Education, Mathematics, or English is preferred.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.

  • Tech Requirements: Proficiency in Zoom, Google Meet, and digital whiteboards (like Miro or Bitpaper).

  • Experience: Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly valued, but we will train candidates with exceptional subject knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: Hourly rates ranging from $25.00 – $50.00 per hour, depending on expertise and student success rates.

  • Flexible Hours: Choose your own availability and scale your student load up or down.

  • Professional Development: Access to the latest SAT/ACT prep materials and digital teaching tools.

  • Bonuses: Performance-based incentives for students who achieve significant score increases.
