Job Summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Administrative Assistant – IT Support to join our remote operations team. This role is critical in providing administrative and technical support to IT teams, ensuring seamless daily operations and efficient resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with a solid understanding of IT systems and support processes, serving as a key liaison between technical teams and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to IT teams, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of meetings.

  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide first-line support to employees across the organization.

  • Maintain and update IT support documentation, user manuals, and internal knowledge bases.

  • Manage service requests, track issues, and ensure timely escalation to appropriate IT personnel.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to IT operations.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including system access and IT equipment setup.

  • Monitor inventory of IT equipment and coordinate procurement as needed.

  • Support IT projects by tracking progress, maintaining schedules, and organizing resources.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in an IT support role.

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and IT ticketing systems.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years in administrative support, preferably within a technical or IT environment.

  • Experience working remotely or in virtual team environments is a plus.

  • Prior exposure to IT support processes, troubleshooting, and system administration is highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible hours may be considered).

  • Occasional extended hours or support for urgent IT issues may be required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of IT support workflows, ticketing systems, and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
