The Pro Account Sales Associate at Home Depot plays a vital role in supporting professional customers, including contractors, builders, remodelers, and business owners. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships with Pro customers, and driving sales growth through tailored solutions and product expertise. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, sales-driven, and knowledgeable about construction, building materials, and home improvement products.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Pro customers, ensuring a high level of personalized service
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new Pro accounts
Understand customer business needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions
Drive sales by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Prepare quotes, manage orders, and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with store leadership and Pro Desk team to achieve sales targets
Maintain accurate customer records and account details
Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and industry trends
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
Strong customer service and sales orientation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships
Basic proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale tools

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Previous experience in retail sales, account management, or customer service preferred
Experience working with contractors, tradespeople, or B2B customers is an advantage
