Job Summary

Home Depot is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist – Security to safeguard company assets, merchandise, and team members while ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for customers. This role plays a critical part in loss prevention, risk mitigation, and compliance with company security standards. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor store activities to deter theft, fraud, and other loss-related risks.

• Conduct surveillance and investigations related to shrinkage, theft, and safety incidents.

• Enforce Home Depots asset protection, safety, and security policies consistently.

• Partner with store leadership to identify risk areas and implement preventative measures.

• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, investigations, and loss trends.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, following company protocols.

• Train and educate associates on loss prevention awareness and safety practices.

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all security matters.
