The Kitchen Designer – Sales Specialist at Home Depot plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by combining creative design expertise with consultative sales skills. This position is responsible for guiding customers through the complete kitchen remodeling journey—from initial consultation and design concepts to product selection and final purchase. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, understands functional kitchen layouts, and thrives in a customer-focused, sales-driven retail environment.
Engage with customers to understand their lifestyle needs, preferences, budget, and project goals.
Create customized kitchen designs using Home Depots design software, ensuring both aesthetics and functionality.
Recommend cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures, and accessories that align with customer requirements.
Provide accurate project estimates, timelines, and product specifications.
Drive sales by presenting value-based solutions and upselling complementary products and services.
Coordinate with installers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of kitchen trends, products, promotions, and Home Depot offerings.
Follow up with customers throughout the sales and installation process to ensure satisfaction.
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and merchandising guidelines.
Strong customer service and consultative sales skills.

Proficiency in computer-based design tools and basic MS Office applications.
