Job Summary

The Merchandising Execution Associate (MEA) at The Home Depot plays a critical role in ensuring that our stores are visually appealing, well-organized, and aligned with corporate merchandising standards. MEAs are responsible for executing in-store merchandising projects, maintaining product displays, and ensuring that customers can easily find the products they need. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work, teamwork, and contributing directly to an excellent customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising projects according to The Home Depots corporate standards, including planograms, resets, and seasonal transitions.

• Maintain the visual appearance of aisles, bays, end caps, and promotional displays.

• Stock, organize, and maintain product inventory to ensure accurate presentation and availability.

• Collaborate with store associates, supervisors, and leadership to complete merchandising initiatives on time.

• Identify and report damaged, missing, or discontinued products and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines while using tools, ladders, and equipment.

• Support store readiness for promotions, events, and peak seasonal periods.

• Deliver a positive customer experience by assisting shoppers when needed and directing them to appropriate store resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual merchandising guidelines.

• Basic computer and mobile device skills for reporting and task completion.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to assist when needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail, merchandising, stocking, or warehouse operations is an advantage but not mandatory.

• On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is beneficial.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedules available, including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
