As a Billing Clerk, you will play a vital role in the global supply chain, ensuring that shipping invoices, customs documentation, and freight charges are processed accurately and efficiently across international borders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Invoice Generation: Prepare and distribute accurate billing statements for air, ocean, and ground freight shipments.

• Data Verification: Cross-reference Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists to ensure all charges align with international shipping contracts.

• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by communicating with global vendors, carriers, and internal logistics coordinators.

• Currency Conversion: Apply correct exchange rates for international transactions and ensure tax compliance (VAT/GST) for various regions.

• Document Management: Maintain digital archives of all financial transactions within our Transportation Management System (TMS).

Shift Details & Remote Environment

• Shift Hours: Typically 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (EST) or similar late-night blocks.

• Global Impact: You will be interacting with systems and teams across different time zones, primarily focusing on Asian or European market closing/opening times.

• Location: 100% Virtual. Work from anywhere with a secure internet connection.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years in billing, accounting, or logistics (preferred but we will train candidates with strong mathematical skills).

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry; a zero-error mindset is essential for international compliance.

• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (vlookups and basic formulas) and specialized logistics software.

• Communication: Strong written English for professional correspondence with international partners.

• Education: High school diploma required; Associates degree in Business or Finance is a plus.
