Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Healthcare Assistant with a QQI Level 5 certification to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to patients, including hygiene, mobility assistance, feeding, and medication reminders.

• Monitor and document patients health status, reporting any changes to senior healthcare staff.

• Assist with routine healthcare procedures under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

• Support patients with rehabilitation exercises, social activities, and daily routines to enhance well-being.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment following infection control standards.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

• Participate in training programs and maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare or equivalent certification.

• Proven experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Compassion, patience, and empathy toward patients.

• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.

• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in healthcare support or patient care is desirable.

• Experience in hospitals, clinics, homecare, or assisted living environments is a plus.

Working Hours

• Part-time, flexible schedule (e.g., 20–25 hours per week).

• Shifts may include mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on patient requirements.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
