Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist – Operations Admin to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting operational workflows, and ensuring seamless inventory management across our fulfillment centers. You will act as a critical link between warehouse operations, inventory systems, and management teams to optimize processes, reduce discrepancies, and contribute to Amazons mission of delivering products efficiently to customers worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and availability.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.

  • Maintain and update inventory records in internal systems, ensuring data integrity.

  • Collaborate with warehouse operations and supply chain teams to streamline processes and optimize stock movements.

  • Assist in operational reporting, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights for management.

  • Support audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to address overstock, stockouts, and misplaced inventory.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within inventory control operations.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with inventory management systems.

  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes is preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain administration.

  • Experience in large-scale operations or e-commerce environments is a strong advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with flexibility required to support operational demands.

  • Occasional shifts during peak operational periods may be required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.

  • Ability to analyze large datasets and generate reports for operational decision-making.

  • Capability to maintain accuracy under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
