Job Summary

Amazon Air is seeking dedicated and safety-focused Amazon Air Associates – Airport Operations to support the efficient movement of packages through our air network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fast, accurate, and secure handling of freight at airport facilities. As an Amazon Air Associate, you will work in a dynamic airport environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain Amazons high standards for safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, and transfer packages and freight to and from aircraft, containers, and ground transportation

• Perform ramp and airport operations tasks in compliance with aviation safety and Amazon Air procedures

• Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as belt loaders, dollies, tugs, and forklifts (training provided)

• Conduct safety checks on equipment, cargo, and work areas

• Accurately scan, track, and document shipments using handheld devices and systems

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of airport facilities and ramp areas

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and flight operations personnel

• Adhere strictly to security protocols, FAA regulations, and company policies

• Support on-time departures and arrivals by meeting operational timelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs. (and team-lift heavier items)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and noisy airport environments

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, airport operations, ground handling, or transportation is preferred but not required

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; full training will be provided

• Experience working in shift-based or 24/7 operations is a plus

Working Hours

• Flexible scheduling including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

• Shifts may vary based on flight schedules and operational needs

• Overtime may be required during peak seasons
