Walmart is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Global Data Analyst – Supply Chain to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management, to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale supply chain data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to business stakeholders.

• Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization through advanced analytics.

• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of supply chain processes and performance metrics.

• Perform root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and recommend data-backed solutions.

• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across procurement, logistics, and distribution networks.

• Contribute to automation and data integration projects to improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting systems.

• Provide ad hoc analytical support for strategic projects and business initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings effectively to global stakeholders.

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, supply chain, operations, or a related field.

• Experience working with large datasets in a global or multi-regional context is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or logistics industries is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, 40–45 hours per week.

• Standard office hours with flexibility to accommodate global meetings and project deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
