Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and creative Prompt Engineer (AI) to join our innovative team on a freelance PJ basis. This role is fully remote and ideal for professionals passionate about artificial intelligence, large language models, and human–AI interaction. The Prompt Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing prompts that enhance the performance, accuracy, and usability of AI systems across multiple business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine high-quality prompts for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools

• Optimize prompts to improve accuracy, relevance, tone, and contextual understanding

• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and product managers to align AI outputs with business goals

• Test and iterate prompts using A/B testing and performance evaluation techniques

• Document prompt strategies, frameworks, and best practices

• Adapt prompts for different use cases such as chatbots, automation, content generation, analytics, and customer support

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA)

• Excellent written communication skills in English

• Ability to think logically, creatively, and analytically

• Experience with prompt structuring, chaining, and optimization techniques

• Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, and automation workflows

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Experience

• 1–3+ years of experience working with AI, NLP, or prompt engineering (practical experience preferred over formal titles)

• Proven portfolio or examples of effective prompt design and AI-driven solutions

• Experience working as a freelancer or contractor is an advantage

• Exposure to startup or agile environments is a plus

Working Hours

• Fully remote (100% Home Office)

• Flexible working hours with focus on deliverables and deadlines

• Availability for occasional virtual meetings across time zones
