As a member of the Ground Handling Staff for the Emirates Group (dnata), you are the backbone of airport operations at Dubai International (DXB) or Dubai World Central (DWC). You will ensure that every aircraft, passenger, and piece of luggage is handled with the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role where you represent the world-class reputation of the Emirates brand on the tarmac and inside the terminal.
Baggage & Cargo Handling: Loading and unloading passenger luggage and commercial cargo into aircraft holds using specialized ground support equipment.
Aircraft Loading: Ensuring the weight and balance of the aircraft is maintained by following strict loading instructions.
Passenger Services: Assisting passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and transfer desks to ensure a smooth journey.
Ramp Operations: Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and high-lifters while adhering to strict safety protocols to avoid aircraft damage.
Aircraft Marshalling: Assisting in the safe arrival and departure of aircraft, including pushback operations and guiding planes to their stands.
Cleaning & Grooming: Performing rapid turnaround cabin cleaning to ensure the highest standards of hygiene for departing flights.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (10 or 12 years of schooling).
Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; however, 1–2 years of experience in aviation, logistics, or a physically demanding service role is a plus.
Language: Professional fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory for safety and communication.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 32kg) and work outdoors in the UAE desert climate (extreme heat and humidity).
Driving: A valid UAE or home-country driving license is highly preferred for roles involving ground equipment.
Safety Mindset: A zero-tolerance approach to safety violations.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multicultural crew under tight Turnaround Time (TAT) pressure.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Location: Dubai International Airport (DXB).
Contract: Permanent / Full-time.
Schedule: Shift-based (e.g., 4 days on, 2 days off).
