Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are eager to start their accounting career with hands-on experience in Tally Prime and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the finance department in maintaining statutory compliance. This role provides exposure to practical accounting functions, making it an ideal starting point for a long-term career in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using Tally Prime.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Assist in the preparation of GST returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements and reports.

• Maintain records of expenses, bills, and other financial documents.

• Ensure all accounting processes adhere to statutory and organizational policies.

• Support internal audits and provide documentation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• Familiarity with Tally Prime accounting software.

• Basic understanding of GST regulations and compliance procedures.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience

• Fresher candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Internship or practical exposure in accounting or finance will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Standard Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Flexibility may be required during financial year-end or tax filing periods.
