Infosys is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst (SOC/Ethical Hacking) – Entry Level to join our dynamic Security Operations Center (SOC) team. In this role, you will monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats, conduct ethical hacking exercises, and assist in strengthening Infosys information security posture. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and logs from various security tools and systems.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and ethical hacking tests to identify potential weaknesses in IT infrastructure.
Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and breaches.
Develop and maintain security reports, dashboards, and documentation for management review.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security controls and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, attack vectors, and cybersecurity trends.
Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate security policies.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SOC operations and security frameworks.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection solutions.
Knowledge of ethical hacking techniques, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills for reporting and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Entry-level position; prior internship or academic projects in cybersecurity, SOC, or ethical hacking are advantageous.
Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows environments, scripting (Python, Bash), and basic security configurations is a plus.
Full-time, typically 40–45 hours per week.
May require shift rotations to support 24/7 SOC operations.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and risk management concepts.
Ability to analyze complex technical data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
