Job Summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst Trainee with hands-on experience or interest in Power BI and Snowflake to join our dynamic data analytics team. This entry-level role is designed for candidates who are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights, supporting business decision-making, and developing expertise in modern data analytics tools. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

• Support data cleaning, validation, and analysis to produce meaningful insights for business teams.

• Collaborate with senior analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable reports.

• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues in coordination with IT and data engineering teams.

• Continuously improve reporting processes, visualization quality, and data analytics capabilities.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics tools, industry trends, and best practices in BI and data warehousing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report building.

• Basic understanding of Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing solutions.

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Experience

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.

• Internship or project experience with Power BI, Snowflake, or similar BI/ETL tools is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time role with standard office hours (typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

• Flexibility for project deadlines and occasional collaborative sessions across global teams may be required.
