Job Summary:

Startup Inno is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist with a strong understanding of US GAAP standards to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong vendor and client relationships, and supporting the companys overall financial health. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with company policies and US GAAP standards.

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts, including investigating and reconciling billing or payment issues.

• Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding of invoices and alignment with budgets.

• Generate financial reports, summaries, and analyses to support management decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Support audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation as needed.

• Assist in process improvement initiatives to optimize accounting workflows and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or general accounting roles.

• Experience working with US GAAP standards is mandatory.

• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

• Flexibility may be required during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close periods.

• Occasional remote work may be allowed based on company policy.
