As a Data Entry Associate, you will be a vital link in our global supply chain, ensuring that shipping information, customs documentation, and tracking data are processed with 100% accuracy to keep the world moving on time.
Information Processing: Inputting customer data, shipping addresses, and package specifications into the FedEx global tracking system.
Documentation Review: Verifying shipping labels and international customs forms for accuracy and completeness.
Database Maintenance: Updating shipment statuses and resolving minor data discrepancies to ensure real-time tracking for customers.
High-Volume Entry: Maintaining a steady pace to meet daily processing quotas while adhering to strict quality standards.
Compliance: Ensuring all data entry follows FedEx security protocols and regional shipping regulations.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: None required. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn over previous history.
Typing Skills: Ability to type with speed and accuracy (tested during the application process).
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in long strings of numbers or complex addresses.
Language: Basic proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus for international documentation).
Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general comfort using web-based applications.
Reliability: A strong sense of punctuality and the ability to work independently.
Location: Available at various FedEx Hubs and specialized remote processing centers.
Shifts: Multiple options available (Day, Evening, and Overnight Sort shifts).
Mode: On-site or Hybrid (depending on the specific facility requirements).
