Healthcare Assistant
We are seeking a tech-savvy and patient-centric Digital Health Coordinator to join our growing Telemedicine Support team in the UAE. As the digital healthcare landscape expands, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between patients and healthcare providers. Your primary goal is to ensure a seamless virtual consultation experience by managing the digital workflow, troubleshooting technical hurdles, and maintaining the highest standards of data privacy.
Virtual Triage: Coordinate and schedule telemedicine appointments, ensuring patients are matched with the correct specialists.
Technical Onboarding: Guide patients and doctors through the setup of the telemedicine platform, resolving any audio, video, or connectivity issues before the consultation starts.
Patient Journey Management: Follow up with patients post-consultation to assist with digital prescriptions, lab test bookings, and follow-up scheduling.
Data Privacy: Ensure all digital interactions and health records are handled in strict compliance with UAE Health Data Laws and DHA/DOH regulations.
Platform Support: Act as the first point of contact for system glitches, working closely with the IT department to improve the User Interface (UI) based on patient feedback.
Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance coverage for tele-consultations and assist patients with the digital claims process.
Experience: 2+ years in healthcare administration, customer success, or digital support. Experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
Language: Professional fluency in English. Arabic is highly preferred to support the local patient population.
Education: Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.
Soft Skills: Exceptional patience and the ability to explain technical instructions to non-tech-savvy users (especially the elderly).
Platforms: Proficiency in Telehealth software (e.g., Okadoc, Altibbi, or internal EMR portals).
Communication: Mastery of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp Business for Healthcare.
Systems: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Health Information Systems (HIS).
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Must be based in the UAE for regulatory alignment).
Schedule: Rotational shifts (including some evening or weekend coverage to match peak patient demand).
