We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the highest quality for our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify automation candidates and integrate testing into our CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in Java and a passion for bug-free code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable Automation Frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, or Hybrid).

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman to ensure backend stability.

• Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) for continuous quality assurance.

• Conduct regular code reviews for automation scripts to maintain coding standards and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on Automation.

• Core Skills: Proficiency in Java and extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver.

• Tools: Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Git for version control.

• Frameworks: Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).

Technical Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

• Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms.

• Familiarity with SQL for database validation and backend testing.

• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
